Twelfth Night

This is the biography of Twelfth Night as produced in the sleeve notes of the Collectors Item CD released by Food For Thought (CD GRUB 18) in 1991.

For ease of reading, I have divided this history into two parts (and a recently added footnote):

  2. Enter Andy Sears
  3. A Footnote

I have reproduced these sleeve notes here in order to make more widely available the history of a band, who for me, were one of the brightest lights of the so called neo-progressive scene of the 1980s. Whilst other bands from this era (such as MarillionIQPendragon) have been more long-lived and commercially successful, I feel that Twelfth Night were far more influential and broke newer ground. For this reason, it is important that their legacy be preserved and promoted.
